Customer Notice - Hovertravel Footbridge, Esplanade, Ryde

As advised by the Isle of Wight Council, we would like to inform you that of 16th January 2012 the  IOW Council will be carrying out refurbishment works to the Hovertravel Footbridge over the railway line, Esplanade.

Works are due to start on Monday 16th January with an expected finish date of 9 March 2012.   

The footbridge will be closed to the public for the duration of the works and a pedestrian diversion will be in place via the access road to the east.  

All passengers who currently use the bridge for rail and bus  connections are advised to allow extra time than usual & if necessary use earlier/later train or bus services in order to allow for the short walk around the east access road to the terminal.

We apologise for any inconvenience which may cause by the works but we thank you for your ongoing custom whilst the works are carried out.
