How to Get to Southsea

Located on the UK South Coast, Southsea is the ideal passenger gateway to the Isle of Wight and is easily accessible from all parts of the country by road and by train.

By Road
Head to Portsmouth and onto M27 Join M275 (signposted Portsmouth) Continue forward leaving motorway (signposted Portsmouth (W), Isle of Wight ferries) Continue onto A3 follow signs to Seafront, Ferries and Historic waterfront. Continue to follow signs to Seafront and Old Portsmouth Follow signs Seafront and hovercraft.

There is a large Pay and display car park opposite the hovercraft terminal.

By Train
Portsmouth & Southsea Station is close to Southsea Terminal. On arrival follow the arrows to the Hoverbus and our specially operated Hoverbus Service will take you directly to our Southsea Terminal for just £1.00 per person. It couldn’t be easier.
