The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary rescues animals from suffering around Europe and provides a safe haven where they can rehabilitate in luxury at their sanctuary on the sandy shores of Sandown Bay. The team pride themselves on delivering an inspiring and unique wildlife experience which is second to none. A warm, friendly atmosphere awaits you, creating the perfect environment for getting to know a whole range of animals. From lions and tigers to monkeys, lemurs and spiders, it has something for the whole family.
The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary holds animal talks throughout the day, giving you a chance to meet their animal carers and learn about the work they do. You’ll also have the chance to see some of their animals have their lunch, including enjoying a feed or enrichment during their daily big cat talks.

- Our Ryde Hoverport is situated next to Ryde Transport Interchange where Southern Vectis Buses 8, 2 or 3 services operate to Sandown. Buses 2 or 3 stop in Sandown with a lovely 20-minute stroll along the Seafront to the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary or Bus 8 stops directly outside the Sanctuary.
