New Booking System Help for Regular Travellers

Regular Travellers New Booking System Help

Following our booking system switch and website launch on 2nd June, please see below some useful FAQs to help regular travellers manage their tickets. Including Flexi Flyers, Frequent Flyers and Education & Professional Flyers.

I had a regular traveller ticket on the old booking system, how do I find my new ticket?

If you had an email address assigned to your ticket on the old system, your ticket would have transferred with this email address. A new booking confirmation would have been sent to you with a new QR code to scan at check-in.

How can I access my ticket online via MyHover Account?

You can login to your MyHover Account using the same email address as your old ticket and selecting the forgotten password option. Make sure the password is between 8 and 20 characters, including a special character, a number and upper/lower case.

Once you have logged in, select My Regular Traveller Ticket and you can select your ticket and load ticket status.

What do I need to scan at check-in?

Tickets now have QR codes instead of barcodes. You can scan your new QR code ticket or your old barcode ticket can still be scanned at check in. To find your QR code ticket, login to your MyHover Account, select My Regular Traveller Ticket, select your ticket and load ticket status. If you select the booking reference this will open up your QR code to scan at check-in. You could even screenshot this to have it ready on your smartphone every time you travel.

Do I need to get a new printed ticket?

With the new booking system you do not need a physical printed ticket. We recommend using your digital ticket on your smartphone available via your MyHover Account. To find your QR code ticket, login to your MyHover Account, select My Regular Traveller Ticket, select your ticket and load ticket status. If you select the booking reference this will open up your QR code to scan at check-in. You could even screenshot this to have it ready on your smartphone every time you travel. Alternatively you can still use your barcode printed card from the old system.

How can I see how many trips I have left on my flexi ticket?

Once you have logged into your MyHover Account, select My Regular Traveller Ticket, and you can load ticket status to view the quantity of trips remaining.

How can I see my ticket expiry date?

Once you have logged into your MyHover Account, select My Regular Traveller Ticket, and you can load ticket status to view your ticket expiry date.

What about my bookings on my old ticket?

On the new system you will not have any bookngs against your regular traveller ticket. You will need to make all your future bookings from 2nd June via your MyHover Account. There is no facility to bulk book preferred crossings.

How do I make a booking on my regular traveller ticket?

Each crossing can be booked individually giving you 100% control over your bookings. Login to your MyHover Account. Select book flight, follow the booking flow steps and at step 5 payment, select pay with pre paid ticket. Select your regular traveller ticket, select pay and your booking will be confirmed. Please note when you are selecting your times a price a will appear in the basket, ignore this as when you submit booking you will not be charged.

How do I view my bookings?

Login to your MyHover Account, select my bookings and search by booking date to view the relevant booking.

What happens if I make a booking on my Flexi Flyer and do not travel?

To ensure you do not lose a trip you must cancel the trip on the day of travel via your MyHover Account.

Login to your MyHover Account, select My Bookings, search by the relevant data and find the booking you wish to cancel. Select the cancel button for this booking. If you have a Flexi Flyer the crossing will be added back to your remaining trips.

What happens if I make a booking and I travel at a different time that day?

You can travel on a different crossing subject to availability, when your check in, your trip will move across to the new crossing.

How do I cancel a crossing?

Login to your MyHover Account, select My Bookings, search by the relevant date and time of the booking you wish to cancel, select the cancel button for this booking. If you have a Flexi Flyer you can not cancel your trip, if you are not travelling on your booked crossing you must amend the booking prior to the booked time to ensure you do not lose a trip.
