Don’t forget to visit Haven Falconry Bird of Prey Centre, home to the Island’s largest bird of prey centre, with over 24 species.
Please note from Saturday 18th October to Monday 17th November, improvement works across the Island Line will require both full and partial closures. The closures will take place in two phases:
- 18th October to 3rd November: Full closure of the Island Line
- 3rd November to 17th November : Trains will only run between Ryde St Johns Road and Shanklin
To maintain connections across the Island Line, replacement bus services will operate throughout the closure when the Isle of Wight Steam Railway in open. Departing Ryde Esplanade hourly from 10:10 to 15:10 and departing Havenstreet 10:40 to 16:40. Minibuses depart from the layby outside PO41 Coffee Shop at Ryde Esplanade and the Steam Railway car park at Havenstreet.
