Hovertravel Adds Extra Morning Flights for the Great South Run

In response to the highly anticipated return of the Great South Run, Hovertravel is introducing additional morning flights on Sunday 19 October, ensuring runners and supporters reach the action on time. Flights will depart from Ryde between 08:15 and 09:45 at the following times: 08:15, 08:30, 08:45, 09:00, 09:15, and 09:45.

“We’re delighted to support the Great South Run by adding these extra morning flights. This ensures participants and spectators can travel swiftly and comfortably across the Solent on race day. Although the route has a diversion this year due to the coastal defence scheme, Hovertravel remains the closest cross-Solent ferry operator to both the start and finish lines, making us the most convenient option for Great South Run travellers.”
