Hovertravel launches half-term deckchair photo competition

With half-term starting for schools on Saturday 25th May, Hovertravel is launching a deckchair-based photography for all to enter. Using the giant deckchair photo competition outside Hovertravel’s Southsea terminal, the competition is looking for images which capture families enjoying themselves during half-term. The winner will get a day return for five people and two runners up will receive a Hovertravel souvenir goody bag.



Loretta Lale, head of commercial at Hovertravel, said: “Our hovercraft is for everyone in the community to use and enjoy, and during the holiday next week , we want to engage with as wide a selection of people as possible to show us how they have fun as a family.

The photography competition is just one way we are celebrating half-term and the start of summer, with music at our terminal and extra flights being added daily but it also offers another opportunity to capture a precious family memory. We look forward to seeing all of the entries and expect to see loads of smiling faces.”
The competition will be open for entries from Saturday 25th May until Sunday 2nd June, giving over a week for photos to be submitted.

The best entries will be shared on Hovertravel’s social media with one winner and two runners up selected random through a prize draw. The competition winner and runners up will be announced the week commencing 3rd June.
