Manage My Booking Guide

We’re pleased to announce our Manage My Booking portal is now live on our website.

This guide gives users an overview of the functionally and how to use it.

Overview

Manage My Booking allows customers to create an online account within our website, which stores purchased standard tickets, regular traveller cards & vouchers.

 

Customers who hold a regular traveller card can renew and pay for their card, book an ad-hoc flight, amend and cancel adhoc bookings, amend preferred booked times (season cards only), check remaining trips (flexi & travel cards only).

 

Passengers travelling on a standard return or single ticket can now amend their booked flight times, quickly and easily via their account. Please note, there’s a £5 admin fee per ticket, per change.

 

How To Guide

Register For An Account & Logging In

 

To register for a new account, simply click 'Login/Register' on the top right of the website;

 

 


 

If you already have an account, enter your details to login here or click 'Register Account' to sign up.

 

 


 

To sign up for a new account, complete the form which includes your name, E-mail address and postal address, create a password and select your preferences. 

 

Note - If you already have a valid ticket or regular travel card, the name & E-mail address you enter, must match those that we hold on file for your ticket. Failure to do so will result in your ticket not linking to your account.

 

 


 

Once you've created your account, login with your E-mail and password. 

 

Dashboard & Menus

Once logged in, you'll see the dashboard screen. Here you'll find the main menu and the log out button.

Use Your Tickets To;

  • View your pre-booked tickets & regular travel cards
  • Amend your standard ticket flight times
  • Add or Amend your Season Card preferred times
  • Make ad-hoc bookings on your Season or Flexi Card
  • Check your remaining trips on your Flexi Card
  • Check your expiry date on your Season or Flexi Card
  • Check your Season or Flexi Card unique ticket number

Use Order History To;

  • View your expired & used standard tickets and regular traveller cards
  • Re-book & pay for a standard ticket
  • Renew and pay for a Season or Flexi Card

Use My Preferences To;

  • Add or Amend your marketing & E-mail preferences

Use Account Settings To;

  • Amend your personal details such as E-mail address, postal address, telephone number etc.
  • Change your password
Amend A Standard Ticket Flight Times (Day Return, Period Return, etc)

Find the ticket you'd like to amend the time of and click change on the leg of the journey you'd like to amend.

 

Please note a £5 fee per ticket, per change will incur for amendments. 

 


 

Select your new flight time and click done.

 

 


 

Enter your details to pay for the change and click confirm & pay

 

 

 

Your reference number will stay the same and a new copy of your ticket will be E-mailed to you. 

 

Season Card Holders

In the 'Your Tickets' section of the dashboard, you'll find a list of all your active season cards. To make a one off booking against your season card, simply select 'Make booking' next to the card you'd like to book on. 

 


 

Choose your route, return or single and your travel dates & times. 

 


 

Once you've clicked book and your booking has processed, you'll see a confirmation screen. You'll also receive a confirmation E-mail with your booking details. When you travel, just scan your card as normal

 

In the 'Your Tickets' section of the dashboard, you'll find a list of all your active season cards. To amend your recurring bookings linked to your season card, simply select 'Preferred Crossings' next to the card you'd like to amend.

 


 

This screen will show you the current times you're booked on each date and from which terminal. Use the Outbound & Inbound tabs to switch between the two.  


 

If a flight you have selected is unavailable on a particular date, you can amend your times or click continue. We would advise continuing and then booking an ad-hoc booking for that date at an alternative time. (See Make A One Off Booking tab) If you amend the time, this will amend for the dates that were successful. 

  

 

To renew a season card, go into the 'Order History' section, click 'renew'.

 


 

Select your start date, ticket type and enter your preferred times if you have any.

Please note, direct debit renewals will still need to be completed in the terminals, this ticket type and DD set up is coming soon. 

 


 

Enter your payment details to secure your ticket and click 'Confirm Booking'

 

 


 

Once processed you're new ticket details and barcode will be displayed. This will also be E-mailed to you, you can scan the barcode from your phone to travel or request a plastic card from our terminals. 

 

Flexi & Travel Card Holders
  • Remaining Trips

To view the number of trips remaining on a Flexi or Travel card, simply find the card in the 'Your Tickets' section, the number displayed under 'Remaining Trips' is the amount of single journeys you have left. This number will update after you have scanned onto a flight and not when you have made a booking. 

 

In the 'Your Tickets' section of the dashboard, you'll find a list of all your active ticket, To make a booking against your Flexi or Travel Card, simply select 'Make Booking' next to the card you'd like to book on.

Select your start date, ticket type and click 'Complete & Pay'

Once processed you're new ticket details and barcode will be displayed. This will also be E-mailed to you, you can scan the barcode from your phone to travel or request a plastic card from our terminals. 

 

Vouchers & Company Tickets

Once your vouchers have been issued to you in terminal for Apology & online for Appreciation vouchers & Company tickets, these will appear in a list on in the 'Your Tickets' section of your Manage My Booking account. 

 

 


To travel on a voucher or Company ticket, a booking will need to be made, you can do this by clicking 'Make Booking' next to the voucher you'd like to use. 

 

 

Then simply choose your route, travel date & time. As each voucher is a single journey, you'll need to repeat this process to book a return. 

 

Once booked you'll receive a confirmation E-mail which you'll need to show on your phone or printed at the time of boarding. 

FAQ

Q. I've created an account but my tickets aren't appearing?

A. Please ensure the name & E-mail address you used to create your account, is the same as the one we hold on file for your ticket. If they're different, please sign up again with the correct details. Please E-mail info@hovertravel.com to check the details we hold for you. 

 

Please also check the customer number that appears on your account, matches the one that's printed on your card. If they don't match, please E-mail info@hovertravel.com 

Q. I haven't had a regular travel card before and I'd like to purchase one. Can I do this on Manage My Booking?

A. Currently only passengers who already have a regular traveller card linked to their account, can purchase another through Manage My Booking. Please purchase your first card in our terminals or over the phone and you can then renew thereafter. New purchases will be coming soon. 

Q. Do I have to amend the time on my ticket?

A. Amending the time on your ticket guarantees you a seat on the flight you choose, you can turn up at an alternative time if you wish, however this is subject to availability and you may need to join the standby queue.

Q. Why can't I amend the date on my day return or single ticket?

A. Once purchased our tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. A new ticket will need to be purchased to amend the date.  

Q. I've made a booking against my regular traveller card, can I amend/cancel this?

A. To amend a regular traveller card booking, just rebook for the same date, same starting terminal and your new time, this will automatically override the existing booking. 

To cancel, please E-mail info@hovertravel.com, this feature will soon be available on Manage My Booking.

Q. Can I purchase a ticket via Direct Debit on Manage My Booking?

A. Our teams are working hard to bring the Direct Debit application online, in the meantime please continue to purchase and set up your direct debits in our terminals or via E-mail.
