This was the 1st time that I had traveled with Hovertravel for nearly 30 years; I usually travel by the catamaran to Portsmouth Harbour, but I needed to go to Southsea, so the hovercraft was the obvious choice.I remember my last trip as being very bumpy, very noisy, and not being able to see anything for the spray. This time, it was still noisy and bumpy, but less so than before. The newer design and model of hovercraft enable you to see more outside the window, which makes the experience more enjoyable.
