Every time we visit England, we make sure to fly Hovertravel. This year, we were lucky enough to enjoy one round-trip crossing and the "Hovercraft Experience Tour."
The employees and the captain were all very friendly, as well as knowledgeable, helpful and welcoming. The operations were a well-oiled machine with reliable service and prompt timing.
Until the Oita, Japan service resumes, this is the only passenger hover ferry in the world, and the Griffon 1200TD craft is by far the most refined hovercraft I've been on. Hovertravel provides a unique experience that continues to get better with each visit.
I would highly recommend supporting this business and joining the list of people who were lucky enough to travel via hovercraft!
