Hovertravel introduces new advance fare discounts for customers

Hovertravel is introducing new advance fare discounts from Thursday 4th December, giving customers the chance to secure up to 10% discount on standard fares simply by planning ahead. This permanent initiative makes the ten-minute crossing between Southsea and Ryde even better value for residents, commuters and visitors across the Solent.

This advance booking discount isn’t a short-term offer - it’s a long-term change designed to help regular travellers and day-trippers enjoy more affordable journeys.”

The discount applies across the entire timetable, making it easy for customers to plan and save. For example:

• Weekend day out from Southsea:
  For a Saturday 10:30 service from Southsea, customers can secure the lower advance fare by booking before 10:30 on the preceding Thursday.
• Lunch and Christmas shopping trip from Ryde:
  For a Tuesday 12:15 departure from Ryde, customers qualify for the advance discount by booking before 12:15 on the preceding Sunday.

With this new year-round saving, Hovertravel continues to deliver a fast, friendly and great-value service for the communities across the Solent region.
