Easter chicks and hedgehogs at Hovertravel
26/03/24
Sight for Wight, the Isle of Wight independent charity dedicated to providing information & support to visually impaired Islanders, is selling crocheted chicks and hedgehogs covered crème eggs at Hovertravel to raise funds.
Lisa Hollyhead, CEO at Sight for Wight, explains: “Following the sell-out success of our crocheted chocolate oranges at Christmas, we are celebrating the Easter season with wild hedgehogs and colourful chicks.
We ask our Blind and Partially sighted members and volunteers alike to crochet these gorgeous little covers and sell them to raise vital funds for the Charity. “
The range is on sale on in both the Ryde and Southsea terminals over the Easter weekend with some of the Chairty’s volunteers on hand to chat to customers and answer any questions they may have. They hope to see you there!
