Hovertravel’s new logo for Isle of Wight Pride

Hovertravel is showcasing its long association with Isle of Wight Pride by adding a rainbow logo to the front of both its hovercraft. Replacing the all-white branding within the union flag livery, the logo now includes all the colours from the current Pride flag.



Pat Sowerbutts, Partnerships & Development Manager at Hovertravel, explains: “Our support for Isle of Wight Pride stretches back several years and we wanted to use the month of June to celebrate our connection to this event. With a place in the parade our teams get involved in creating our float and enjoy the amazing atmosphere on the day. We are also focussed on making it as easy as possible for customers to cross the Solent for the day with an early bird offer and extra crossings.”

Hovertravel is operating additional later flights on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th July with departures from Ryde at 2130 and 2230 respectively, giving customers the chance to enjoy all festivities and return home to the mainland the same day. Andy Newman from Isle of Wight Pride adds: “Hovertravel has always been a committed partner for us, as in addition to the extra flights and promotional support they make introductions, advise on transport options and even recommend sponsors.
