Hovertravel staff beat fundraising target for Mountbatten

Hovertravel is a long-time supporter of the Mountbatten Hospice, having helped to encourage walkers for the annual Walk the Wight event for almost 15 years. This time the staff-led HoverWalkers team completed the 26.5 miles of the full walk and raised over £1000.


Hovertravel pilot, Matt Harrison, added: " Alongside providing early, extra flights on the Sunday morning for participants, we wanted to get involved and raise money so Hovertravel entered its HoverWalkers team. We were delighted to have completed the walk across the island, thanks to the support and companionship of our colleagues and team mates. Knowing we were raising funds for the amazing work of Mountbatten helped to make the pain well worth the gain!"
