Hovertravel celebrates first and 100th experience flight with Johnsons Coaches

Leading coach operator Johnsons Coaches and Hovertravel are celebrating the fact that the first and one hundredth hovercraft experience flight with a coach operator were conducted together.

Barry Cobb, Tours Manager, Johnsons Coaches explains: “We were delighted to be in at the beginning with Hovertravel and to also be part of this significant milestone too. These trips are hugely popular and we always get great feedback from our customers on how much they enjoy the day. Here’s to the next 100!”

Hovertravel is a sought-after experience for many coach operators, providing a unique flight across the Solent to visit the many attractions on the Isle of Wight. Hover Experience customers have their own private charter, complete with pilot commentary during demonstrations of the hovercraft’s capabilities and a detailed explanation of how the craft works.
