Hover Fast Freight & Parcels FAQ
Yes, our Fast Freight service is operating as normal.
If you're dropping off a parcel in Southsea, we have a dedicated freight office to the left of the ticket office.
If your parcel is departing from Ryde, please go to the ticket office desk.
Yes, all parcels must be weighed and both of our terminals have scales.
The maximum weight per item is 40 kg subject to terms and conditions.
Providing as the items are secure and not loose, they can placed into a box or wrapped into a bag. We regretfully can't carry pallets.
No, when you drop the parcel off you'll complete a senders docket which includes the sender & receivers name, we will attach this to the parcel.
Customers collecting parcels just need to turn up and state the name on the parcel.
Once the Hovercraft has landed, we advise to allow around 10 minutes for the freight to be unloaded and processed for collection.
