King George Fireworks Night
Dates & Prices
Lighting up the city skyline again this November will be the popular annual Cosham Bonfire & Fireworks Display at the King George V playing fields.
This free event opens at 4pm. Enjoy the children's funfair (under 12's only) as well as the variety of hot food & refreshment vendors, to keep you warm on a cold winter's evening.
The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the stunning fireworks display will start at 7:30pm after a countdown led by the Deputy Lord Mayor of Portsmouth.
The display, funded and organised by Portsmouth City Council, always draws the crowds so try to avoid driving if possible, although parking will be available at Lakeside.
Visitors are asked not to bring their own fireworks or sparklers to the display for health and safety reasons.
