Our quick and frequent Hoverbus operates a circular service between Southsea Hoverport, The Hard Interchange (for Gunwharf Quays), Portsmouth Edinburgh Road (for City Centre and Portsmouth & Southsea Railway Station) and Southsea Hoverport every 30 minutes.

It is timed to connect with hovercraft arrivals and departures at Southsea terminal and only costs £1.70 per single journey per child & £1.95 per adult. If you have an all-inclusive ticket travel on the Hoverbus is free

Stagecoach and First Group operate the bus services in the Portsmouth and Hampshire area. Regular services are operated throughout the day within the Hampshire Area. The majority of bus services operate from The Hard Interchange in Portsmouth however the Hoverbus can connect you to these services form Clarence Esplanade, Southsea.

Southern Vectis operate all bus services on the Isle of Wight. Ryde Esplanade, just a 2 minute walk from Ryde Hoverport, is a central bus station which can connect you to Isle of Wight towns including Brading, Newport, Cowes, Sandown, Shanklin, Ventnor and many more.

South Western Railway operate regular direct services from Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo, or even direct from Isle of Wight to London Waterloo with Hovertravel. SWR also operate services from Portsmouth Harbour to Southampton Central, Winchester, Basingstoke, Havant, Guildford and more.

First Great Western operate direct services from Portsmouth Harbour to Cardiff Central. The journey takes approximately 3 ½ hours.
