Travelling to the Isle of Wight Festival with us
Booking and travelling with Hovertravel is easy. Our hovercraft depart from Southsea, Portsmouth and will have you across the Solent and onto the Isle of Wight in less than 10 minutes, faster than any other ferry service. We’ll drop you off directly onto the beach, so there is no need to walk all the way down the pier. Awaiting you at Ryde are the shuttle buses ready to transport you directly to the Festival (tickets need to be purchased - this is not a free shuttle bus).
If you are coming to our Southsea terminal by rail, the nearest station is Portsmouth and Southsea Station. Follow the signs to the connecting Hoverbus shuttle service, which will have you at our terminal in less than ten minutes. If you have a through national rail ticket to Ryde Hoverport, the Hoverbus is free of charge!
