Bembridge Windmill

  • Getting Here

The Isle of Wight’s only surviving windmill and one of the Island’s most iconic buildings, Bembridge was built more than 300 years ago. The sails last turned in 1913 but inside most of the original machinery is still intact. You can climb the steep steps to the very top of the windmill and follow the milling process back down through four floors. Little ones can hunt for the hidden millers such as Millennium Falcon and there’s a reception kiosk that sells hot and cold drinks as well as ice creams and gifts.
