Hovertravel have a new service timetable for 2008 offering more choice, flexibility and convenience.

“In response to customer demand throughout 2007 we have improved our timetable with additional commuter services and an earlier start time”.  Loretta Lale, Marketing Manager.

The first service will be at 06:30 from Ryde and 06:45 from Southsea, followed by a 0700 from Ryde and 0715 from Southsea.  There is an additional service at 1645 from Ryde and 1700 from Southsea.   The hovercraft service will finish each day at a slightly earlier time of 1940 from Ryde and 1955 from Southsea.  During the peak summer there will be additional crossings at 2020 from Ryde and 2035 from Southsea,

Additionally the Hoverbus which connects with most hovercraft arrivals at Southsea will see an amended timetable. The Hoverbus takes passengers through to the Hard for the travel interchange, Gunwharf Quays and Historic Dockyards, through to the City Centre (Edinburgh Road) and onto Portsmouth & Southsea train station.
