The hovercraft timetable will run as follows over the Christmas period:

Christmas Day and Boxing Day – NO SERVICE
27 – 28 December from Southsea:
0710, 0745, then every 30 minutes until 1815, 1900, 1935, 2010
27 – 28 December from Ryde:
0650, 0730 then every 30 minutes until 1800, 1840, 1920, 1955

29th - 30th December - Normal Weekend Service

31st December from Southsea:
0710, 0745, then every 30 minutes until 1815, 1900, 1935, 2010

31st December from Ryde:
0650, 0730 then every 30 minutes until 1800, 1840, 1920, 1955

2008 Timetable

Hovertravel have a new hovercraft timetable for 2008.  With an earlier start time and additional commuter services Hovertravel are offering more choice, flexibility and convenience.

“In response to customer demand throughout 2007 we have improved our timetable with the additional services and earlier start time”.  Loretta Lale, Marketing Manager.

The first service will be at 06:30 from Ryde and 06:45 from Southsea. Additionally the Hoverbus which connects with most hovercraft arrivals at Southsea will see an amended timetable. The Hoverbus takes passengers through to the Hard for the travel interchange, Gunwharf Quays and Historic Dockyards, through to the City Centre (Edinburgh Road) and onto Portsmouth & Southsea train station.
