Situated in the heart of the Undercliff and enjoying a unique micro-climate, the gardens are divided geographically with rare plants and shrubs from all around the world.

Visitor facilities include a gift shop, cafe, exhibition and plant sales areas.  1 1/2 miles west of Ventnor and accessible via no 3 bus from Ryde, no 9 from Ryde to Newport and no 6 to Ventnor, or take the twice daily Around the Island Open Top bus tour, which leaves Ryde Esplande at 10am and 11am.
