The largest collection of exotic animals on the island. Anteaters,Penguins,Sloth,Tapirs,Ocelot, Flamingos,Toucans,Monkeys and more... Animal talks and events throughout the year. Adventure playground, cafe and shops, plus the islands only Lemur walkthrough exhibit ' wild Madagascar ' where you can walk in with the lemurs! Suitable for all ages. Easy walking, free parking facilities, suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Wheelchairs and mobility scooters are available for use free of charge. Situated off the main Newport to Sandown road almost opposite the Fighting cocks public house.
Try to spot the many species of tropical bird flying freely through the rainforest above your head or count the crocodiles in the pond. Enjoy the displays and talks or just sit and watch the lemurs as they sunbathe and play.
Awarded ‘Top Attraction’ by I.O.W Tourism the large collection of South American animals is second to none. They have a huge range of animals from the commonly seen and loved marmosets to the more unusual and rare Tamandua , Giant Anteaters and Armadillo. They also house what is probably the UK’s largest collection of Toucans.
They have daily Falconry Displays and ‘Meet the Animal’. There is also an on site café, a gift shop and a large ‘Jurassic’ themed adventure playground to keep the kids occupied.
